Atende merges with Codeshine, with focus on software and application development

Atende S.A. has announced its plans to merge with its subsidiary, Codeshine sp. z o.o. The purpose of the fusion is to optimize the structure and processes related to the development of software and advanced cloud applications. The development of the potential and offer in this area is one of the goals defined in the Atende Next strategy.

The development of the potential and offer in this area is one of the goals defined in the Atende Next strategy.

Codeshine is a Polish company that creates web pages and applications (web, mobile) for various B2B companies. It was listed by Clutch among the Top Web Development Companies in Poland for 2020. Codeshine specialises in delivering high-quality, state-of-the-art web software. The ability to analyse big data sets is also a part of the company’s DNA. In 2015, the company became a part of the Atende Capital Group. At present, Atende is the 100% shareholder of Codeshine.

The aim of the strategic fusion is to use the high multicloud competences of the Codeshine’s development team directly in Atende’s projects. The examples of joint initiatives include development of key applications for a leading Polish food company – where Codeshine and Atende collaborate in creating a culinary website and a platform for managing content for 140+ brands in the manufacturer’s portfolio. More joint projects are planned in the medical, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.

The merger will also help to simplify the organisational structure of the Atende Capital Group, which will translate into a reduction in costs related to running business by two separate companies. This will enable the company to focus even more on efficient resource utilisation and improving its bottom line. The merger process is expected to be completed after necessary approvals from regulators are obtained and contractual conditions are met.
