We are providing technological support for WOŚP for the 6th time!

For 25 years, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation has been taking action to help the youngest among us, and for the last several years — also seniors, with their health and life in mind. Last year, the Foundation raised a record amount of more than PLN 44 million!

We are proud to announce that once again Atende S.A. is supporting WOŚP with its work, knowledge and experience,  coordinating IT works related with the Finale. Once again, Atende will provide a fully virtualised server environment (hybrid cloud) and network environment necessary to handle the intense traffic on the Foundation’s pages. According to our data, the network traffic volume increases every year on average by o 60%! Last year, our servers processed 99 million hits, which translates into an average of approx. 1,141 hits per second, and in the case of files — up to 6,000 hits/s. The complete infrastructure was configured so that up to 3,000 hits could be processed by a single server.

Atende ensures not only continuity of website operation, but also its security. To this end, it uses fully redundant network infrastructure with secured network edge with NGF (Next Generation Firewall) devices and specially designed AntyDDoS and IPS systems. In 2015, the environment successfully repelled a 630 Mbps attack! Continuous, 24/7 monitoring of the provided solution by the so-called Network Operation Center and qualified 2nd and 3rd line support engineers completes the set of services.

This year, Atende will provide 10 times more skeleton network capacity at the TV studio, amounting to 10 Gbps (previously 1 Gbps). Moreover, Atende engineers will supply and connect innovative IP telephone solutions (Voice-over-IP).
