Summary of Atende’s participation in MWC 2016

The Mobile World Congress is the world’s biggest telecommunications event. It is a fair with tens of thousands of participants and visitors from all over the world; with presentation of the most important technology developments and trends for the industry. This year, only a few companies from Poland attended, including Atende, which displayed its products and services for telecommunications. We presented unique expertise in Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and our flagship products for PCRF (Policy and charging rules function) and WLAN operators.

With the Cisco Gold Partner status, Atende offers top integration services for packet networks. We are the only integrator in Poland to have participated in the implementation of packet network core for the leading mobile phone operators, using Cisco EPC (Cisco Evolved Packet Core) as the foundation, with modifications to make it follow the requirements of the fourth generation standard (4G). The project included designing, implementation and addition new, LTE network-specific functional elements for users.

Our proprietary PCRF, Atende SMaCS, has been successfully employed on the Polish market by one of the biggest telecommunications operators. It is a solution for flexible modelling of business processes and quick integration with the operator’s IT ecosystem.

Atende Smart Wi-Fi, on the other hand, enables centralised and intelligent management of HotSpot networks.

The presence of Atende at MWC 2016 had been noted by our current partners (e.g. CISCO) and customers (T-Mobile, P4). We have new made contacts with Polish and foreign companies, and we hope the contacts will result in cooperation in the future.
