Paweł Pisarczyk is the “Visionary of 2016”

Paweł Pisarczyk, President of the Management Board at Atende Software — a company from the Atende Capital Group, was awarded in the prestigious competition ′Visionaries of 2016′ [′Wizjonerzy 2016′], organised by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, for his business vision, drive and courage in managing the company and developing innovative technological products.

This was the fifth edition of the competition which aimed to honor exceptional entrepreneurs who proved to have not only great business ideas, but also the ability to successfully implement them in the ever-changing market conditions. The award ceremony was held at the European Forum for New Ideas in Sopot.

Among the winners were: Emilian Kamiński, Roman Krzysztof Karkosik, Czesław Lang and Piotr Voelkel. This year, also an award for the visionary of the five-year period was granted to Piotr Wojciechowski and Adam Bartosiewicz.

— Visionaries are people able to perform an in-depth analysis of the situation at a crucial time for the development of the company and create a proper action plan — says Leszek Niemycki, Vice-President of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank Polska. — These are the people who managed to build a career not only through their work, but also by inspiring investors, partners and employees with their ideas, thus, realising their dreams — he adds.

Paweł Pisarczyk is the President of the Management Board of Atende Software and Phoenix Systems (companies from the Atende Group) and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at OmniChip. In addition, he is a member of the Council of the National Chamber of Commerce for Electronics and Telecommunications (KIGEiT) and the Chairman of the Smart Grid Section (SIS-SG KIGEiT). Since 2016, he acts as one of the experts in the Industrial Transformation Team in the Ministry of Development. He is also one of the founders of the Invincible [Niezwyciężony] Foundation established in 2013. Its main objective is to support young people in difficult life situations and to promote sports activities and active involvement contributing to a change in the surrounding reality.

Paweł Pisarczyk was granted the title of the ′Visionary of 2016′ primarily for the development of the first content distribution system for Internet TV in Poland and a series of innovative hardware and software solutions for the emerging Smart Grid and Internet of Things markets.
