New Atende contracts with the value of PLN 8.7 million

Atende signed contracts for the implementation of cutting edge virtualisation platforms. The systems are designed for public sector entities and the companies from the financial sector. The technology provider is VCE. The total value of contracts is PLN 8.7 million gross.

Both contracts include the supply of integrated systems of the Vblock virtual environment and installation, deployment and maintenance, and training services. The Vblock solution is a virtual environment architecture of high availability, which was designed and built by VCE using technologies from the three manufacturers: VMware, Cisco and EMC. The system consists of four parts: the management system, the virtual data processing environment, communications, networking and mass storage. The Vblock system is considered to be one of the most advanced integrated computing systems which can be fully customised to customer needs in terms of computing power, storage capacity and weight, cooling and geometry, readily adaptable to the needs of a data centre. The entire contract will be completed by Atende this year.
