Million contract with the National Bank of Poland

The National Bank of Poland has chosen Atende S.A. as a partner in a tender for the purchase of producer support for key network devices. The gross value of the agreement is PLN 2.1 million.

The National Bank of Poland is the most important financial institution in Poland. For the Bank, maintaining continuity of operation and providing services to all customers flawlessly are particularly important. With the growth of a network, the addition of new business processes and of systems and services, the consequences and costs of a possible network infrastructure shut-down increase considerably. Hence the NBP decided to go for a full uptime guarantee, while maintaining the highest possible level of security.

Under the announced tender ′Cisco – extended producer’s maintenance services′, the National Bank of Poland has chosen Atende S.A. as the best partner for the IT security. According to the agreement, for a period of 36 months, Atende will provide SMARTnet service for all network Cisco devices held by the client. As one of the few companies in Poland, for over a dozen of years Atende has had the status of a Cisco Gold Partner.

Cisco SMARTnet is a service designed for clients who need full technical support in the maintenance of Cisco software and a guarantee for the hardware replacement in the case of failure within the deadline determined by their SLA (Service level Agreement). With this service, the client will reduce the risk of errors in their software and of safety issues, while improving the overall efficiency of network operations and the network performance.

In addition to the SMARTnet services, Atende will provide Cisco Advanced Services, which will help the National Bank of Poland to better identify network threats and to detect security vulnerabilities in the network environment, network management, and operational processes.
