Gold Cross of Merit for Roman Szwed

Roman Szwed, President of the Management Board of Atende S.A. (formerly ATM Systemy Informatyczne S.A.), was decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit. The award was presented in recognition of achievements for the development of the information society on the basis of the decision of Bronislaw Komorowski, the President of the Republic of Poland.

The Gold Cross of Merit was presented at the 4th Conference TeraForum ′Information Technology ad acta?′ which was the culminating point of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications. The medal was presented to Roman Szwed by Henryk Wujec, the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland.

The Gold Cross of Merit is an award presented to persons who fulfilled merits for the State or citizens by carrying out activities outside the scope of their normal duties, bringing substantial benefits to the State or citizens.
