Changes to the Management Board of Atende support the preparations for a new strategy

 

According to the previous announcement, Atende S.A. is in the process of preparing a new strategy for the capital group. In order to support this process and the consistent transformation of the management model, the composition of the company's management team has been changed today.

On 3 September 2021, the Supervisory Board adopted a resolution on appointment as of 16 September 2021 Mariusz Stusiński, acting as an advisor to the Management Board since January this year, as Vice-President of the Management Board of Atende. At the same time, on 3 September and with effect as of 15 September this year, as a result of the change of functions and responsibilities in the Group agreed with the Management Board, the resignations were submitted by: Jacek Forysiak, Szymon Stępczak and Jacek Szczepański. As of 16 September this year the Management Board of Atende will be composed of three members:

- Marcin Petrykowski – President of the Management Board

- Iwona Bakuła – Vice-President of the Management Board

- Mariusz Stusiński – Vice-President of the Management Board.

 The Management Board will present a new strategy for the Atende Group in the coming months.

 

Mariusz Stusiński is an experienced ICT market expert who has been professionally involved with industry leaders since the beginning of his career. He began his career in 2002–2008 in the sales structures of Orange and Nortel, in the area of ICT. Subsequently, in ATM, he headed a department responsible for the development and commercialisation of an innovative technology platform for the construction of Internet television. He has held managerial functions within the Atende Group for the last 10 years. Between 2011 and 2021, as Vice-President of the Management Board of Atende Software (currently: Redge Technologies), he was jointly responsible for the market success of the CDN platform (under the name redGalaxy) used today by the leading Internet TV broadcasters in Poland, as well as for the development of sales of intelligent energy systems and the company's finances. Since 2014, he has acted as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Phoenix Systems, since 2018 – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Omnichip, and since December 2020 – Vice-President of the Management Board of Atende Industries – companies from the Atende Group specialising in high-tech solutions. He is a graduate of the Military University of Technology and Lodz University of Technology (Faculty of Electrotechnical and Electronics, in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications).

Iwona Bakuła is an expert with almost 30 years of experience in the field of finance, management and capital markets. For over a decade, she has been managing finance in the IT sector, since 2010 as Vice-President of the Management Board in charge of finance at Atende S.A., supervising the controlling, accounting, administration and logistics departments. During her career, she was directly involved in mergers and acquisitions, including the merger of Tricon Restaurants Poland (formerly PepsiCo Poland) with American Restaurants, owner of the KFC and Pizza Hut restaurant chains, the acquisition of the Wedel brand by Cadbury, a British company, and the acquisition of KLK by ATM Systemy Informatyczne. He has many years of experience in auditing companies during numerous acquisition processes. She supervised the implementation of IT systems (e.g. JD Edwards, SAP, Exact) and ISO 9001:2001 certification. On May 28th, 2012 she successfully introduced Atende (then operating under the business name ATM Systemy Informatyczne S.A.) on the WSE, being responsible for the preparation and implementation of the IPO process. Between 2000 and 2009, she was a member of the management board of Ascom Poland sp. z o.o. in charge of finance. Before that, between 1999 and 2000, she was the chief accountant at Cadbury-Wedel sp. z o.o., and between 1995 and 1999 she served as deputy financial controller at PepsiCo Poland sp. z o.o. She started her career in the banking sector, working in the accounting department of Polsko-Amerykański Bank Hipoteczny S.A. between 1993 and 1995. She graduated in 2000 with a master's degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Insurance and Banking in Warsaw. In 2003, she completed post-graduate studies in accounting at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.

Marcin Petrykowski has over 20 years of business experience gained by leading and managing the strategic development and operations of global institutions in the capital and financial markets. On May 23rd, 2021, Marcin Petrykowski replaced Roman Szwed as the President of the Management Board of Atende S.A. The change in the position of President of the Management Board followed a mature succession plan. Since May 2021 he has served as a non-executive Regional Senior Advisor to Vauban Infrastructure Partners, an European infrastructure investment fund, advising on matters concerning Central and Eastern Europe. Between 2014 and 2021, he worked at S&P Global Ratings Europe Limited Sp. z o.o. Branch in Poland, where, as Managing Director and Branch Director, he was responsible for the company's commercial activities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, in Central and Eastern Europe and in Poland. In parallel, in 2016-2019, he served as a member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee at MCI Capital S.A., a private equity fund listed on the WSE. Previously, in 2007-2014, he worked at J.P. Morgan Europe Limited based in London and at J.P. Morgan Europe Limited Branch in Poland Sp. z o.o., where, as Executive Director and Deputy Branch Director in Poland, he managed the area of global capital market services for financial institutions in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, CIS countries and Israel, while co-managing the company's branch in Poland. He started his professional career in 2002 at Citibank Handlowy Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. where, after completing a Management Associate program, he served Citibank's global corporate banking clients based in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe until 2007. Marcin Petrykowski is a member of the Supervisory Board of STARTUPBASIS POLSKA sp. z o.o., a member of the Board of the Lesław A. Paga Foundation, an academic lecturer of postgraduate Fintech studies at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw and, until the end of June 2021, a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland (AmCham). In 2002, he graduated with a Master's degree from Kozminski University in Warsaw.
