During the current edition of one of the largest and most widely recognised technical conferences in Poland, ATM Systemy Informatyczne will lead a series of 3 workshops. The conference will be held on 20–22 March in Zakopane, in Hotel Mercure Kasprowy.
During this year's Cisco Forum, organizers will present the concept of joint innovation combining solutions, technologies and architectures. The conference will focus on virtualization, data processing centres and security.
Cisco Forum 2013 will also include some workshops. ATM Systemy Informatyczne will lead the following sessions:
Topic: Convergent infrastructure of Data Centres according to VCE
Workshop date: March 21st, 11:30 a.m.
The aim of the workshop is to familiarise its participants with Vblock – a solution provided by VCE. Vblock is a virtualization platform that consists of solutions provided by such manufacturers as EMC, VMWare and Cisco.
First part of the workshop will be devoted to the technology of Vblock platform and its components. Participants will also have a chance to watch a 3D multimedia presentation. Second part will be dedicated to managing the virtualization platform via GUI. One of the big advantages of the workshops will be a chance to see Vblock set up on one competency path. VCE represents the next generation of Data Centres based on the converged infrastructure of cloud computing, which aims to eliminate the problems that consume today's resources. Vblock is a designed and tested high availability architecture of the virtual environment.
Topic: OPEX cost optimization of DataCenter facilities
Workshop date: March 21st, 1:00 p.m.
During this workshop, participants will find out what are the most important costs in the DataCenter construction process, where you can acquire sources for financing investments, whether it is possible to reduce OPEX costs and what to do to pay less. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the idea of GreenIT and some technologies that can be used in DataCenter facilities.
Workshop leader: Sławomir Bieniek – Key Account Manager at ATM Systemy Informatyczne S.A.
Topic: Prime IP NGN – Provisioning of IP/MPLS services
Workshop date: March 21st, 3:30 p.m.
This workshop will focus on the configuration of IP/MPLS in operator networks. Laboratory participants will find out about Cisco Prime IP NGN components and learn whether provisioning of IP/MPLS services is possible on ASR9006 and CRS platforms. During the workshop, we will create services such as: l2vpn, l3vpn and mpls-te from the management system level. We will also test monitoring mechanisms and present services in MPLS network topology.
Workshop leader: Tomasz Sosnowicz – Consultant, ATM Systemy Informatyczne S.A.
You can register for each of the workshops that you find interesting by subscribing on-line.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
