Pursuant to the agreements with the Military University of Technology, Atende will deliver a comprehensive containerized Data Centre, as well as a state-of-the art campus network. Both contracts cover unique technical solutions.

The first of the agreements signed between Atende and the Military University of Technology (WAT) is worth PLN 5.8 million and provides for delivery of a comprehensive containerized Data Centre along with the fittings. The Military University of Technology will receive, among other things, guaranteed power supply systems, air conditioning systems, fire and alarm systems, as well as early warning systems. The project will entail launch of a management system for the whole data centre, as well as delivery and installation of ICT racks, and hardware necessary to build the infrastructure for a private cloud computing solution. The main supplier of the containerized data centre, which makes the entire solution mobile, is Emerson Network Power. Cloud computing infrastructure will be set up on the basis of the solutions delivered by the following producers: Cisco and EMC. That is the first such installation in Poland.

The second agreement is worth PLN 2.8 million and covers delivery and launch of networking devices necessary to build a LAN for the Military University of Technology's campus. The delivery constitutes the first stage of project ′WAT.pl IT Platform for Scientific Research Support′ (′Platforma Informatyczna Wsparcia Badań Naukowych WAT.pl′) The key element of the project is the backbone layer of the network, which will include 7 nodes and 2 management points. Within the framework of the project, Atende engineers will install Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) solution for the first time in Eastern Europe. It is the first solution on the market addressed to data centres and cloud systems that offers the possibility of full monitoring and integrated management of both physical and virtual IT resources, while taking into account the ongoing requirements of the application.
