Atende invests in Cryptomage – a company that combines artificial intelligence with network cybersecurity

Under an agreement signed on April 27th, Atende SA completed the first phase of its investment in Cryptomage SA, a Polish company responsible for the proprietary Cryptomage Cyber Eye™ cybersecurity probe. As the company’s key invention and flagship product, the cybersecurity probe is a single solution that combines such aspects as network traffic monitoring, low-level protocols, machine learning and advanced artificial intelligence algorithms. In the first phase of the transaction, Atende SA has acquired a new issue of Cryptomage shares that represent 20% of the company’s stock. In the following steps, Atende intends to increase its holding to 31.63% of the total Cryptomage’s stock by 2025 when the exit of the Starfinder Capital fund is finalised.

The integration of Cyber Eye, the flagship product of Cryptomage, is the key component of the Atende Group’s plan to develop a proprietary network-oriented cybersecurity product. The product will cover the entire scope of Gartner’s SOC Visibility Triad, including EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response), NDR (Network Detection & Response) and SIEM (Security Information & Event Management). With the integration of the Cryptomage’s network traffic analysis capabilities into the existing Atende Security Suite, Atende’s product is enhanced by addition of its own NDR pillar to provide clients with better and reliable visibility of network activity. This will allow for identifying and preventing cyber-threats in real time while ensuring confidentiality, integrity and protection of data. The joint SaaS system will integrate data from distributed security systems, automate incident investigation and provide IT support through intelligent threat assessment algorithms.
